Starting Point for Trekking Mount Batur is located in Toya Bungkah Village (on the foot of the mount). It is easy to find, not too far from Batur Lake.

Climb to the peak of the mount approximately takes 2 hours. Therefore, you should start to hike at 02.00 am so you arrive on the peak at 05.00 am as sunrise time.
